Behind their success lies excellent raw materials and unique handling techniques, as well as imaginative recipes. It\u2019s worth noting that they make their own \u201ccheeses,\u201d breads, and even the wraps they use.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for what to try, definitely choose a velvety soup, such as the spicy curry cream with cashew milk, a variety of dried vegetables, yellow curry, and homemade coconut yogurt, or the porcini cream with caramelized and fresh agaricus, porcini, and cashew cream. Don\u2019t forget to order a dish with noodles and, of course, one of the unique wraps. Especially with the Greek wraps filled with vegetables, mushrooms, oregano oil, and tzatziki made from homemade plant-based yogurt, you\u2019ll feel like you\u2019re eating a real (but also vegan) souvlaki.<\/span><\/p>\n

While it may not be a purely vegan spot, Yum Guilt Free certainly deserves a place on the list of vegan options in Glyfada. In this tiny pastry shop you will find several vegan choices. To give you a general idea, the philosophy of Yum Guilt Free and its creator, Liza Vavouris, is to allow you to enjoy sweets every day without ever regretting it. How is this possible? By offering them in their \u201cpurest\u201d form, without sugar, eggs, or animal dairy. Here, you will find bars and energy balls, tarts, semifreddo, cookies, brownies, logs, donuts, cakes, truffles, and many other delightful treats that you won\u2019t believe are sugar-free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, to be absolutely sure you\u2019ve made a vegan choice, ask them which sweets do not contain honey\u2014they have several options, so you won\u2019t be disappointed. Another sweet spot in Glyfada that may not be exclusively vegan, but is one of the first places we think of when looking for vegan desserts in the area. The Cakers is a pastry shop known for offering the real “American cake” experience in the city, but here you will also find plenty of vegan options. Try the highly interesting and delicious vegan fruit tart with forest fruit jam or the refined apple pie with fresh fruit. Of course, you can\u2019t miss their fluffy vegan muffins. Whether you prefer chocolate or carrot, you are sure to enjoy them. If you lean more towards cookies, note that you will find vegan options like soft cookies and cinnamon twists, and of course, we can\u2019t forget the vegan soft-serve ice cream from The Cakers, which is made with almond milk and is sugar-free, so you can enjoy it without any guilt.<\/span><\/p>\n
