Everyone has their go-to restaurants, caf\u00e9s, and bars for every occasion. A caf\u00e9 for Saturday morning coffee with friends, one or two relaxed bars for first dates, and a few restaurants depending on appetite and mood.<\/p>\n
Among all these, there are also those places we choose not just for the food but mainly because we want to meet our friends and have a good time. They\u2019re the kind of spots without two-hour sittings, where you can linger for hours, chatting and saying every so often: \u201cAnother tsipouro and an apaki, please.\u201d<\/p>\n
One such place is Radiourgies in Petralona, just above Panagi Tsaldari. If you head up Koilis Street, you\u2019ll find it on the right-hand side. The space doesn\u2019t impress at first glance, but it\u2019s simple, well-kept, with tables and chairs that invite you to settle in. Each table is its own little world: couples on early dates, families, and of course groups of friends with years of shared memories.<\/p>\n
The dishes come and go with familiar flavors \u2013 nothing excessive or complicated. In the middle of the table you\u2019ll find the \u201cRadiourgies\u201d salad, a Greek salad with carob rusk and vinaigrette, tzatziki and tyrokafteri for those essential dips with potatoes and bread.<\/p>\n\r\n\r\n
