In Voula, where the city begins to fade and nature takes over again, two friends, Romanos Georgiou and Dimitris Beis, decided to set up something of their own. A place where you can spend the whole day, without being touched by the intensity of the “urban jungle”; where you can dive early in the morning, stay for lunch on the sand, drink a glass of wine with a view of the sunset and feel, at least for a moment, that you are on an island. The C Beach Restaurant introduces us to barefoot luxury that leaves room for the experience to speak for itself. They talk to us about their venture and goals!
R.G.: With The C Beach Restaurant, we wanted to create a new spot on the Athenian Riviera, in harmony with nature that will offer us the entrepreneurial opportunity to highlight our aesthetics and what we can offer to the hospitality industry.
D.B.: We are next to tourism giants, but we are not entrepre neurs engaging in other activities. We created this business based exclusively on our own aesthetic criteria, with the aim of covering our own needs, first and foremost. We follow what we want to witness as an experience: a relaxed space without pressure; an unpretentious luxury.
R.G.: I grew up in the southern suburbs. I started in Nea Smyrni and later moved to Voula, which has been booming rapidly in the last five years and will continue to do so. So, together with my partners, we decided to utilize the untapped venue and put it on the map.

D.B.: Thanks to the configuration of the space as a continuation of the natural environment and its special decoration – vegetation, wooden elements, targeted selection of furniture – one feels that they have moved away from Attica and are enjoying their holidays on an Aegean island.
R.G.: We have put a lot on emphasis on the “culinary experience”. We wanted the flavors to be familiar to our foreign guests, but also to include the Greek way of creation. The menu is not fine dining. It is simplified with “products from the farm” and creative dishes at good and competitive prices. This year we added fresh fish – both as sashimi and on the grill. The kitchen is overseen by chefs Dorina Demai and Lazaros Stamoulis, with many years of experience and deep knowledge of gastronomy, while the premium drinking experience is ensured by Dimos Lytras – our third partner – and Vagelis Siafakas, owners of Bar Flies.
D.B.: At The C Beach Restaurant we host private events, such as pre-wedding and after-wedding parties. We are soon launching themed days and evenings, with variations in the menu and music, such as the Full Moon Dinner – a unique experience with dinner on the sand under the light of the full moon. Our immediate plans include the addition of a purely evening restaurant experience, as we currently operate from 10:00 to 22:00. Our philosophy is constantly evolving, aiming to offer something authentic, spontaneous and meaningful to our guests.
