Based in Athens, 314 Architecture Studio was founded in 2004 by Pavlos Chantziangelides and has since established itself as one of the most emblematic entities in the field of contemporary architecture, both in Greece and internationally. The name of the firm is inspired by the mathematical number π (3.14), a symbol of perpetual flow, circularity and perfection, capturing the essence of an architecture that is not strictly defined, but constantly evolving.

The studio’s philosophy focuses on the synthesis between organic form and natural landscape, with the aim of creating experiential, aesthetically powerful and emotionally charged spaces. With a clear focus on fluidity, curved lines and materiality, 314 attempts to translate habitation into an existential experience — a dialogue between humans and their environment.

Notable projects that embody this design approach include the “Luxurius Boutique Complex” in Cairo, Egypt, a highly aesthetic architectural ensemble that bridges contemporary design with cultural elements of the area. Equally impressive is the “Cuevas Eternidad” in Voula, a residence inspired by sculptural form and the concept of eternity, which seems to emerge organically from the earth.

“The Seashore Rise” in Glyfada and “The Chrysalis Residences” in Vouliagmeni continue this philosophy with strong undulating forms, natural flow and light as a structural element. Similarly, the “Golden Beach Hotel” in Paros and the impressive seaside complex “Athens Riviera Falirikon” in Paleo Faliro, reflect a holistic approach, focusing on sustainability, landscape integration and user experience.

314 Architecture Studio does not treat architecture as a static object, but as a dynamic, narrative act — a means to express human creativity, to strengthen the relationship with the landscape and to shape meaningful spaces. With works that transcend the boundaries of form and touch the soul, the studio remains a pioneer in the international dialogue on the future of habitation, sustainability and contemporary aesthetic experience.
