Athens Riviera Luxury Awards: The Riviera celebrated its finest
The Athens Riviera's new institution, which showcases entrepreneurship, development and hospitality along the Athens coastal front, made its debut with the first awards ceremony at One&Only Aesthesis, with NouPou Media as official Media Partner.

Thirty awards, four categories, one new institution. The first Athens Riviera Luxury Awards ceremony took place on Thursday, 17 September 2026 at the imposing One&Only Aesthesis in Asteria Glyfada, honouring the leading figures of high-end real estate, tourism and hospitality on the Athens Riviera.
The new annual benchmark institution was created by Vicky Bouzouni (Founder & CEO of Legacy Group – Capital & Media), while the first awards ceremony — co-organised with NouPou Media, which was also the official Media Partner of the evening — was held under the Auspices of the Ministry of Development.
The awards ceremony brought together leading figures from the business world, members of the Government, and representatives of Local Government and institutional bodies. Maria Themeli hosted the evening, while the event was opened with welcome addresses by the creator of the institution, Vicky Bouzouni, and the Chairman of Optima bank, Georgios Taniskidis.
The awards focused on four key pillars, following evaluation by the competent judging committee, which was made up of Vassilis Politis, Rear Admiral (ret.) HN, adviser on marina investments and yacht management and Member of the Board of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping; Panagiotis Tombras, architect and founder of Top Mentor Consultants; Michalis Papoulis, founder & CEO of Pharos Investment Advisors and Vice-Chairman of SEPEY (Association of Investment Services Companies); and Anna Gauthier, Director of Sales and Marketing of One&Only Aesthesis in Asteria Glyfada.
High-profile attendance and institutional representation
The awards were presented by figures from the state and the business world, among them the former Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ioannis Kefalogiannis, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Anna Karamanli, the Deputy Minister of Health Marios Themistokleous, the Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy Stefanos Gkikas, the Secretary of the Political Committee of New Democracy Konstantinos Kyranakis, the former Minister and Member of Parliament for East Attica Makis Voridis, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs Manolis Koutoulakis and the Chairman of the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments Dr. Haris Lambropoulos, while among the official guests who honoured the evening with their presence were also the Deputy Regional Governor for Institutions, Transparency and e-Governance of the Region of Attica, Christos Theodoropoulos, and the Mayor of Glyfada, George Papanikolaou.
Awards were also presented by representatives of institutional bodies and senior executives: the President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping Georgios Alexandratos, the President of the Hellenic Marine Tourism Association Yiannis Kourounis, the President of the Hellenic Committee of Professional Yachting Tzina Polemi, the President of SITESAP (Greek Professional Yacht Owners Bareboat Association) Efthymios Bibis, the President of the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association Filippos Venetopoulos, on behalf of CEO Clubs Greece its founder and President Georgia Kartsani together with General Manager George Sagonas, Sissy Lignou (President, IAPCO; CEO, AFEA Congress), Orestis Omran (DLA Piper), Anna Gauthier (One&Only Aesthesis), Gerasimos Lazaridis (Estates Costa Lazaridi), George Iatridis (Trees4Greece) and Vicky Papageorgopoulou (Who is Who).

Construction, Development & Architecture
Avakon, of Konstantinos Kioleoglou, was awarded Contemporary Luxury Residential Developer of the Year; Ten Brinke Hellas took Top European Luxury Developer, with Thanasis Taramas accepting; while sisters Elina and Katerina Rentoumi received Architecture Excellence in Luxury Residential Development for Rentoumis Architectural Constructions. Stefanos Nikoglou was honoured for Son Architectural Construction with the title Architecture Studio of the Year 2026; Konstantinos Berios for Berios with International Construction & Project Leadership; Dimitris Mourkakos for Day Group with Excellence in Luxury Residential Development & Enduring Value. Ali Foulandi accepted Excellence in Real Estate Development & Architecture for iLand; Iosif Arampatzis Excellence in Luxury Construction & Innovation for Epikyklos Construction; Popi Papachristou Iconic Architecture & Design Excellence for 314 Architecture Studio; and Panagiotis Roumis Facade Engineering Excellence & Innovation for Rumming Group. Victoria Tsalkani took Interior Design of the Year 2026 for VRT, Konstantinos Deloudis the Design Legacy award for Deloudis, and Claudia Fusha the Timeless Interiors & Living award.
Real Estate & Investments
Optima Bank was honoured with a double distinction, Visionary Banking Leader and Excellence in Banking, with Georgios Taniskidis accepting. Aris Goutos was awarded Legacy in Luxury Real Estate & Development for Golden Land Goutos; Charilaos Bournous Global Wealth Relationship Excellence for Ethos Partners; Dr. Panagiotis Kalafatas Medical Technology Innovation & Leadership for Kalteq; and Amit Aburman Residential Hospitality Innovation for Astrea Properties. Petros Angos accepted the title Global Luxury Real Estate Brand in Greece for Engel & Völkers; Zoi Zi and Konstantinos Grigoratos took Luxury Real Estate Agency for Remax Properties Investment; Lefteris Potamianos took Honorary Real Estate Leadership for Potamianos Real Estate Group. Kymba Real Estate, with Maria Konstantina Kyriakou and Xanthipi Basi, took Rising Star Real Estate; Yiannis Daskalakis and Chara Galoni took Excellence in Property Advisory & Asset Management for Daskalakis & Associates; while Notia Medcare, with founding investor Eduen Mobayed, was awarded Pioneer in Longevity Healthcare.
Hospitality
The Hospitality Icon award went to the host of the evening, One&Only Aesthesis, with Gerald Krischek accepting, while George Tsantirakis took the Boutique Hospitality Pioneer distinction for ACE Hotel & Swim Club Athens.
Yachting & Marine
Dimitris Angelakos took Mediterranean Superyacht of the Year 2026 for Angel Yacht; Captain Christos Metallinos Global Megayacht Excellence for Emir Yacht; Regina Politi Excellence in Maritime & Yachting Services for Alpha Marine Group; and Maria Kasseri Excellence in International Yacht Provisioning for Elite Solutions.
The honorary awards
The awards ceremony concluded with seven special honorary distinctions: Ioannis Dragnis was honoured as Superyacht Pioneer for Golden Yachts & Goldenport Holdings; George Chryssikos with Hospitality Transformation for Grivalia Hospitality; Olga Itsiou with Urban Regeneration Leadership for DIMAND. Stavros Katsikadis accepted Marina Leadership & Coastal Excellence for the Greek Marinas Association, and Konstantinos Monios the title Marina of the Year 2026 for Flisvos Marina. Brothers Spyros and Chrysanthos Panas were awarded Hospitality & Lifestyle Visionaries for Panas Sophisticated Hospitality, while Fotis Fotos and Ioannis Mavrikis took The Art of Aerial Innovation for Dronira.
The spectacular finale of the evening
The event closed with a networking cocktail for all guests, while the curtain came down on the evening with a spectacular 10-minute drone show by Dronira, lighting up the sky above One&Only Aesthesis.
